The Challenge
As Alford Group expanded its services and audience, the firm needed a unified brand system that could speak to their decades-long reputation of nonprofit excellence but also scale across platforms while remaining accessible and human. Communications needed to feel professional enough for institutional partners, yet engaging and inclusive for nonprofit audiences. Additionally, the firm’s website needed to clearly articulate complex services and ideas in a way that felt intuitive, modern, and aligned with newly developed BrandScript messaging.
Our Approach
Building on Alford Group’s emerging visual system, I developed custom graphics, branded templates, and social media toolkits that empowered team members to maintain consistency across channels. Through intentional use of color, typography, and layout, I helped create a brand presence that was both recognizable and flexible. I also provided design consultation for the firm’s new website, translating complex offerings into a clear, accessible digital experience. My recommendations emphasized visual hierarchy, readability, and inclusive design principles, and I collaborated closely with the web development team to refine layouts, strengthen visual storytelling, and integrate the new BrandScript framework throughout the site.
